             Holidays            

Throughout the school year, our school promotes the famous “holidays”, in which students actively participate,by dressing up accordingly and bringing food and drinks. Our goal is to integrate students into American culture and teach them about the history and importance of those holidays for the American Society.

Valentine’s Day

It’s a celebration of love where the students and teachers all wear red or pink and students share love letters with each other.

Carnaval

 Traditional Brazilian holiday where everyone dresses up in costumes and gathers to dance in the middle of tons of confetti.

​​St. Patrick 's Day

The Irish holiday where everyone wears green and makes a huge green meal with green food and beverages.

Easter

The originally catholic holiday celebrated with bunnies and lots of chocolate.

Mother's Day

A day dedicated to appreciate all the love and care given to us by our beloved mothers.

A month of awareness of the dangers of driving.

A traditional Brazilian holiday where we all dress with traditional clothes and celebrate with lots of food and games.

Halloween

Monsters are all around giving out candy during the day and haunting people during the night in our spooky sleepover.

Branta’s Halloween Sleepover

The night is dark and full of terrors, monsters all around school. The students are divided into teams to face challenges to overcome their fears and win the grand prize. Are you brave enough?

Thanksgiving

A day to appreciate everything we have by gathering around in a big circle and telling everyone what you are grateful for. We then proceed to celebrate with a delicious meal with turkey and mashed potatoes.
